Welcome to the Village of Cremona! Not to be confused with the community with the same name in Italy (which we were named after!) and not Kelowna as many people seem to mishear! This great little Village with a huge heart is located approximately 40 km (or 30 minutes) north of Cochrane, 78 km (or 55 minutes) to Calgary, 117 kms to Red Deer and under 20 minute drive to both Carstairs and Sundre.

Nestled on the corner of highways 22 and 580, Cremona is a small community with lots to offer. We have a K-12 school with just under 400 students, a large arena currently under expansion, Gold & Silver Seniors Center, many places of worship, newly expanded Library that offers many programs, restaurants, KC Foods for groceries, many service organizations and non-profit organizations. Volunteers in the community have banded together to build many of the community services available here today.

Cremona was incorporated into a Village on January 1, 1955, with a population of approximately 190 people. The Village of Cremona is governed by a council of three as well as one administrative head. Today Cremona has just under 450 residents.

My children go to school here and my husband was raised here - we have been rural residents of the area for over 10 years as a family and my husbands family has been here over 90 years. If you'd like to know more about this foothills gem please give me a call!
